OUR STORY

Fake Mustache sashayed onto the scene in 2005 with big dreams, bold performances, and a whole lot of heart. What started as a little drag show in Calgary has grown into Canada’s longest-running drag troupe, where gender is a playground, and everyone’s invited to the party.

Over the years, we’ve been serving up fierce looks, belly laughs, and unforgettable performances that celebrate individuality in all its fabulous forms. We’re more than just a troupe—we’re a family, a movement, and a living, breathing celebration of creativity and inclusion.

Now, as we hit our big 2-0 anniversary, we’re capturing the magic in a comic anthology, archiving two decades of stories, artistry, and moments that shaped our community. The future? Even brighter, bolder, and just a little more fabulous.

Come see what the fuss is about—we’ve got the glitter, but you bring the sparkle.
